To reduce time spent by abstractors on repetitive manual checks, we streamlined the validation of multiple data sources by combining automated analysis with thoughtful UX. By identifying overlaps and semantic variations across registries (e.g., “DOB” vs. “Date of Birth”), we designed real-time validation flows with clear messaging, progressive disclosure, and automated cross-checking. The result: faster, more accurate data entry with less cognitive load—giving abstractors more time to focus on higher-value work.

We partnered closely with subject matter experts to deeply understand real-world workflows across registry types. By observing their day-to-day processes and listening to their challenges, we uncovered the hidden friction points—like ambiguous fields, repetitive workarounds, and manual bottlenecks—and used those insights to design smarter, more streamlined solutions that actually work in practice, not just on paper.

We streamlined patient onboarding and eligibility verification, eliminating redundant work across departments and accelerating time-to-care and billing. Centralized data also improved reporting, auditing, and compliance.
